Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris

Jonathan Dayton (born July 7, 1957) and Valerie Faris (born October 20, 1958) are a duo of American directors and producers for film and music videos. They started their career directing videos for such artists as Red Hot Chili Peppers, R.E.M. and The Smashing Pumpkins. Together they directed the films ''Little Miss Sunshine'' (2006), ''Ruby Sparks'' (2012), and ''Battle of the Sexes'' (2017).
