Author Notes:Susan Paradis, a former high school art teacher, spends most of her time in her studio drawing and painting. She also enjoys traveling where she can explore new places and museums with far-flung friends and family, especially her eldest son who lives in Europe. When at home in northeastern Massachusetts, Susan takes a daily five mile walk along the Merrimac River, frequents the gym, and plays with her seven grandchildren. They are, she says, "her favorite source of inspiration".
