Author Notes: Maureen Taylor has been the director of Library User Services at the New England Historic Genealogical Society in Boston, a reference librarian, a historical researcher and speaker, a film archivist, and a genealogical consultant. She holds undergraduate and master's degrees in history from Rhode Island College. She lives in Massachusetts with her husband and two children.
