Summary: When Sheila married Blackthorne, she was convinced that she'd found her perfect soulmate, and helped him attain the privileged life. But under his smooth, charming facade lurked a violent, controlling sociopath -- a liar, scam artist, and sexual deviant. Finally she escaped from him, skelletally thin, bruised, and beaten. Later, recovered, she married again and was joyously pregnant, but she still feared her former husband. When her killer left her in a pool of blood, marked by the footprints of her two little girls, the question was raised: could this murder be traced back to the powerful millionaire Blackthorne? This the story of following that trail of obsession, revenge, deception, and murder.
