| Author Notes: | Dr. Gumnit has a world-renowned office-based practice in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. He also serves as a staff neurologist at the Gillette Children's Center at Regions Hospital in St. Paul and at the Minneapolis Center for Epilepsy (MINCEP) in Minneapolis. He teaches neurology and neurosurgery at the University of Minnesota, and is the President of the National Association of Epilepsy Centers.
