Author Notes:	Kimberly M. Thompson, Sc.D., is an assistant professor of risk analysis and decision science at Harvard University School of Public Health. She received her master of science degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and her doctor of science degree in environmental health from Harvard University. Dr. Thompson lectures widely and has written more than 50 articles for professional and medical journals.
