Author Notes: Deborah S. Koch has raised millions of dollars for higher education and community nonprofits. Her first foray into grantseeking was as a congressional staffer, where she helped bring needed funds to West Virginia. Deborah has conducted numerous grantseeking trainings and consulted for philanthropic organizations nationwide. With an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School, Deborah has published several works, including Mission Possible: 202 Ways to Strengthen the Nonprofit Sector's Infrastructure. Currently working as director of grants for Springfield Technical Community College, Deborah lives in Northampton, Massachusetts.
