| Author Notes: | Timothy Snyder is Professor of History at Yale University. He received his doctorate from the University of Oxford and has held fellowships in Paris, Vienna, Warsaw, and at Harvard. His four previous books have all received awards, including the George Louis Beer Prize for The Reconstruction of Nations and the Pro Historia Polonorum for Sketches from a Secret War. His most recent work is The Red Prince: The Secret History of a Habsburg Archduke. He lives in New Haven, Connecticut. |
