Author Notes: John Corey Whaley received a B.A. in English and an M.A in secondary English education from Louisiana Tech University. Before becoming a young adult author, he taught public school for five years. His first novel, Where Things Come Back, received the 2012 Printz Award and the 2012 Morris Award.
