Author Notes: Dr.Connie Mariano, retired Navy rear admiral, served as White House physician from 1992 to 2001. In 2001, she joined the Mayo Clinic Scottsdale, and in 2005 she established her own medical concierge practice, the Center for Executive Medicine in Scottsdale, Arizona, where she currently takes care of more than 300 corporate presidents and their families. Dr. Mariano is a frequent speaker in national media.
