Author Notes: Tyler Oakley was born on March 22, 1989 in Jackson, Michigan. His alma mater is Michigan State University. He is a YouTube and podcast personality as well as an author, humorist and advocate for LGBT youth rights and suicide prevention. He is also a volunteer and supporter of The Trevor Project which works for the prevention of suicde among LGBT youth. Other social issues of interest to him are education and healthcare. He posts regularly on various social media sites and is famous for his YouTube videos and interviews. His book, Binge, was released in 2015.
