| Summary: | Retells the epic tale of Odysseus, the ancient Greek hero who encounters witches and other obstacles on his journey home after fighting in the Trojan War, told from the point of view of the steadfast companion who never gives up hope of his master's safe return. When Odysseus left to fight in the Trojan War he left behind his wife Penelope; his young son Telemachos... and his loyal dog Argos. As Ithaka is threatened from within by those who would take Odysseus's place and become king, Argos protects his home and his family, never giving up hope of his master's safe return. |
