Author Notes: Terri Tierney Clark, a graduate of Smith College and Dartmouth College's Tuck School of Business, has over 20 years of business experience, in senior positions at companies like Merrill Lynch and her own advisory business, Summit Equity Advisors. At Merrill Lynch, she was one of the first female managing directors in their investment banking division and was also elected to the company's first women's steering committee. She has presented on a variety of professional topics for women at numerous colleges and career events. She is married, with a son, and two daughters.
