Author Notes:	Jennifer Pharr Davis, the former record holder of the fastest thru-hike on the Appalachian Trail, has hiked more than 13,000 miles on six continents, many of them with her family. She's been featured in the New York Times, the Washington Post, and Outside magazine, among others. She is founder and owner of Blue Ridge Hiking Company. Brew Davis has hiked in all fifty states, completed numerous ultramarathons, and thru-hiked trails across the US and Europe. But his proudest hiking accomplishment is coaxing, prodding, cajoling, and carrying their daughter, Charley, 6 miles up Mount LeConte in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. He works with his wife at Blue Ridge Hiking Company. The family Lives in Asheville, North Carolina.
