Author Notes: Margaret Mizushima is an American author. She was born in Kansas, and was raised on cattle ranches in Texas and Colorado. She is a graduate of Colorado State University with a degree in Speech Pathology. After college, she worked as a speech pathologist in a hospital, and later started her own rehabilitation agency. Eventually she sold her business, and began to study fiction writing. With her interest in crime fiction and crime documentaries, she focused her efforts on mystery writing. She writes the Timber Creek K-9 Mystery series, which includes Killing Trail, Stalking Ground, and Hunting Hour. She also wrote the short story, Hay Hook. It was published in the Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers 2014 anthology.
