Author Notes: Lexie Bean is a writer, actor, and curator, as well as an advocate for trans and non-binary domestic violence survivors. Lexie's writing has been featured in Teen Vogue , Huffington Post , The Feminist Wire , and more. They are the fourth recipient of the Bookshop Santa Cruz Writing Residency at the Wellstone Center in the Redwoods. This is their first children's book.
