In his project he plans to lead the Scouts of Troop 42 in marking a section of the State Road that connected Phillipsburg, Sandy Ridge, and Tyrone. The first people to use the road traveled on horseback or in horse drawn stagecoaches. The road dates 1796, making it almost two hundred years old. Now the stagecoach trail is a barely noticible path through the woods. The proceeds from this book will go towards the purchase of the lumber used to mark the trail."--Introduction.
