Author Notes:Liesbet Slegers was born in Belgium in 1975. She studied graphics and illustration at the St Lucas School of Arts in Antwerp and now works as a full-time graphic designer and illustrator. With her simple, recognizable style and vivid colors, she knows how to attract the attention of every toddler. In her many books, Liesbet frequently focuses on the first experiences of childhood, a time she characterizes as exciting but also very scary. She aims to help toddlers with her books and give their parents and teachers some assistance as well.
