After pleading with the author to put him in the proper story, the two settle on a shoot-out in the Old West -- until the hero once again begs the author to find a better fit. Could he be a dragon-slaying knight? A vampire victim? A crime-scene detective? The author tries again and again -- at one point leaving the hero waiting in his underwear! -- but he just can't seem to get it right. So the hero decides to take matters into his own hands...."-- |
