Author Notes: Amy Pelzner 's life has turned out much different than what she'd planned! After working as an optometrist for more than a decade, she took a leap of faith (hence the name of her blog, Leap of Faith Crafting) and decided to start a blog as a place to showcase handmade crafts that for sale. She quickly fell in love with the blogging aspect. With a degree in biochemistry from UC San Diego and a doctorate of optometry from UC Berkeley, she started crafting later in life with almost no prior experience, which is what led her to try and inspire other women to take up crafting no matter how old they are. It's never too late to find your passion! She resides in California. Follow her on Instagram @leapoffaithcrafting
