Author Notes:	Connie Schofield-Morrison captured the rhythm of the neighborhood in her first picture book, I Got the Rhythm , and again in I Got the Christmas Spirit and I Got the School Spirit . She is also the author of the picture book biography Stitch by Stitch: Elizabeth Hobbs Keckly Sews Her Way to Freedom . Connie has been writing since she was a young girl and is inspired every day by the big sounds and bright colors of the world around her.
