Author Notes:Mike Allegra knew not long after penning Pirate & Penguin that the pair?s hilarious high-seas hijinks couldn?t be contained to a single book, and that future adventures would call for more crew members. He would have joined the crew himself except, well, books and water don?t exactly mix. He?s written a number of other books for children, including Sleepy Happy Capy Cuddles (Page Street Kids) and Scampers Thinks Like a Scientist (Sourcebooks). He also works as an editor and a creative writing teacher. Visit his website at www.mikeallegra.com and say, ?Ahoy!?
