One day a true story of survival in the Holocaust

"Eugène Handschuh was a Jew in Paris under Nazi occupation. Somehow, against the odds, he and his father survived--when so many others did not. This poignant true-story picture book, powerfully illustrated by Benjamin Phillips, reminds us of the best of people, in the worst of times."--
