Description
Summary:"Learn about the water cycle from the perspective of a cloud in this lively informational picture book. As readers follow little cloud through the sky and the world below it, they learn about how clouds form, what water vapor is, and how it moves from air to ground and back again. As cloud "sips the steam from a cup of tea" and "swallows breaths sent up with a breeze," it soon becomes so full and heavy that it has to burst, leading to a stream of splattering rains and the crackle, zap and BA-BOOM of a thunderstorm. Additional back matter includes a diagram about the water cycle, information about different types of clouds and an exploration of the life cycle of thunderstorms."--
