Author Notes:Sara Hall is a professional runner, wife to American marathoner Ryan Hall, and mom of four daughters adopted from Ethiopia. She has been competing professionally for over twenty years and been nationally ranked for almost three decades. She lives in Flagstaff, Arizona with her family.
