Description
Summary:"From one of Raffi's biggest fans, and most accomplished "beluga grads", Caldecott Medalist and New York Times bestselling author-illustrator Jon Klassen, comes a dryly humorous picture book adaptation of one the first ever original children's songs by this iconic entertainer. Interpreting one of his favorite songs from Raffi's very first album for children, Jon Klassen invites readers to celebrate one of the little milestones and simple joys of growing up -- reaching the tap! -- from a kids perspective. "I wonder if I'm growing. My mom says yes I'm growing. But it's hard for me to see." While you're growing up, it can be hard to tell if you're growing at all. You wonder if you're growing when you look out the window, when you look in the mirror and when you're in the bath . . . sometimes you wonder if you're too little for this world (and maybe even this book). Then one day you wake up, and -- HEY! You can reach the tap now. For the very first time today. Jon Klassen's spare, sweetly funny art perfectly complements Raffi's wonderfully minimal, optimistic lyrics, making for a timeless new picture book classic, guaranteed to be read and sung aloud for generations to come, and to make readers of all ages smile."--
