The world of fashion is the setting for this mystery starring Lydia Chin, a Chinese-American PI in New York, hired to ransom some stolen designer sketches. When she arrives at the rendezvous she is shot at and robbed. The hunt for her attacker takes her from sweatshops to fashionable drawing rooms.
