| Author Notes: | Carr's early career was in dance, acting and photography. She later directed and choreographed srage productions. Carr ran a successful photography business in New York City (1999-2006). She closed it a few years after she was diagnosed with cancer. She was diagnosed with a rare cancer, epithelioid hemangioendothelioma, that affected her liver and lungs. In 2007 she made a documentary, Crazy Sexy Cancer, and a book, Crazy Sexy Cancer Tips.
